RECITAL
Majid Al Futtaim Loyalty Program ("SHARE") is operated in EGYPT by MAF For Installation And Management Of Hypermarkets (S.A.E) ("Majid Al Futtaim" or "MAF") representing the Majid Al Futtaim group of Companies. The SHARE rewards mobile application ("SHARE App") that can be available on App Store, Google Play and any other platforms and the SHARE website which is the SHARE rewards program website at: https://www.sharerewards.com/eg ("SHARE website") are offered to the Member conditional upon the Member’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") as modified from time to time. By accessing and using the SHARE App and / or the SHARE website, you have agreed to all Terms & conditions .
DEFINITION
The following binding definitions shall apply:
1. "Account" means the account where Points of a Member will be Earned/Redeemed accessible on the SHARE App and / or SHARE website.
2. "Earn" or "Earning" is when a Member is rewarded with Points for making a approved Transaction at a Participating Brand.
3. "Enrolment Date" means the date the Member successfully registered with SHARE.
4. "Member" or "You" means a person who has successfully registered a SHARE Account in accordance with these Terms.
5. "Participating Brand" means Carrefour, VOX Cinemas, Magic Planet, Ski Egypt and MyLi. The current full list is available on the SHARE website:

6. "Points" means the value of the SHARE rewards programme currency which are accrued by Members of SHARE in consideration of duly making a Qualifying Transaction.
7. "Operational Date" the date of operations of SHARE in Egypt and for any other countries in future phases it will be as decided by
Majid Al Futtaim at its sole and absolute discretion.
8. The "Minimum Redemption Amount" is 10 SHARE Points (worth 1 EGP or equivalent) to be used against a purchase.
9. "Privacy Policy" means the terms and conditions describing how
Majid Al Futtaim gathers, uses, discloses, and manages its private customer's data as referenced in Clause 10 below.
10. "Qualifying Transaction" means a successful transaction within a Participating Brand or a Partner Programme that is carried out in accordance with the Terms and with applicable laws & regulations after the SHARE Operational Date.
11. "Redeem" or "Redeeming" is when a Member uses their Points to pay for goods or services in part or in full in Participating Brands.
12. "SHARE ID" means the barcode identifier within the SHARE App.
1. GENERAL TERMS
1.1 MAF reserves the right to change, modify or amend any part of SHARE at any time. This right includes, but is not limited to, the Terms, Partner Programmes, MAF partner affiliation, rules for Earning and Redeeming points, Minimum Redemption Amount, rules for use of rewards, benefits, procedures, Participating Brands, and specific features of promotional offers. Reasonable efforts will be made to ensure the latest version of these Terms is posted on the SHARE website

1.2 The Member's use of SHARE any time or after any change or variation to the Terms or otherwise will be deemed to be an acceptance by the Member to any modification or update. The Member is solely responsible for remaining knowledgeable of the Terms.
1.3 MAF may change, restrict access to, suspend, or discontinue SHARE or the SHARE App, or any portion of SHARE or the Share App, at any time without notice, refuting any liability of whatsoever nature.
1.4 The SHARE App and / or SHARE website may contain links to websites operated by third parties. Such links are provided for your reference only and your use of these websites may be subject to their own terms and conditions. By inclusion of the aforementioned websites MAF does not endorse the material or the security of browsing on such websites. MAF accepts no liability of whatsoever nature related to websites or apps operated by third parties, and under no circumstances shall MAF be liable for any loss or damage caused by your use or reliance on information obtained through third party websites or apps.
1.5 The information published on the SHARE App and / or SHARE website might not be
complete or it might include inaccuracies or typos. MAF does not represent or warrant that access to the SHARE App and / or SHARE website will be uninterrupted or that there will be no failures, errors or omissions or loss of transmitted information, or that no viruses will be transmitted on the SHARE App and / or SHARE website. MAF makes no representations about the suitability of the information, products, and services contained on the SHARE App and / or SHARE website for any purpose not for its functionality. All information, products, and services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. MAF hereby disclaims all warranties and conditions with regard to information, products and services, including all implied warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.
1.6 In no event shall MAF be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or any damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of the SHARE App and / or SHARE website or with the delay or inability to use the SHARE App and / or SHARE website, or for any information, products and services obtained through the SHARE App and / or Share website, or otherwise arising out of the use of the SHARE App and / or SHARE website, no matter how arising whether based on contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise.
1.7 SHARE App and / or SHARE website might contain message or communication facilities which are offered to Members. Any opinions, views or statements expressed or made by a Member in the course of using those facilities are those of that Member and not of MAF or SHARE. MAF is under no obligation to review any messages; information or content posted on the SHARE App and / or SHARE website and assumes no responsibility or liability relating to any such submissions and MAF reserves the right to review, edit or delete without notice any contents or the submissions received from Members, which it deems in its sole discretion to be illegal, offensive or anyway unfitting or otherwise. You understand that you are responsible for any material you may submit to the SHARE App and / or SHARE website. You agree that when posting a message on the SHARE App and / or SHARE website, you shall not defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights of others; nor publish, post, distribute, or disseminate any harmful, threatening, defamatory, abusive, infringing, offensive, obscene, vulgar, indecent, or unlawful material or information; nor advertise or offer to sell any goods or services or conduct or forward surveys, contests, or chain letters of any kind; nor post messages impersonating others; nor upload any files that contain software or other material protected by intellectual property laws or by rights of privacy unless you have the legal right to do so; nor upload any files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may cause damage to others; nor delete any author attributions, legal notification, or proprietary material in any file therein.
1.8 You agree to indemnify MAF, its affiliates, its subsidiaries, its shareholders, employees, agents and representatives, and to hold all defended and harmless from any claims, and liabilities including legal costs that may arise from your overall use or submissions to the SHARE App and / or SHARE Website, from your use of material or services obtained through the SHARE App and / or SHARE website, from your breach of these Terms, or from any such acts or omissions arising through your use of the SHARE App and / or SHARE website.
1.9 MAF reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to deny access to the SHARE App and / or SHARE website wholly or partially without any notification with no liability of whatsoever nature.
1.10 SHARE has no predetermined termination date until such time as MAF decides to terminate it, at any time, with or without notice at MAF’s sole discretion. A Member has the right to leave SHARE and discontinue the usage of the SHARE App and / or SHARE website at any time. If a Member opts to leave SHARE, the Member understands and accepts that the Member shall be forfeiting any unused Points or Earning activities that would generate Points. MAF cannot guarantee, nor does it give any warranties for fulfilment of a Member’s request that is not part of the standard offering of SHARE as per the Terms. Notwithstanding the aforementioned a Member might not be able to directly opt-out of any management, marketing or service communication that is within SHARE.
1.11 Points have no monetary value and cannot be sold or assigned to others or used as value in any other transaction other than those facilitated by SHARE in accordance with the Terms. You understand and accept that the Points are loyalty points for the sole purpose of redemption within Share, and the Points cannot be redeemed for cash nor considered either exchangeable to monetary currency nor that it represents monetary assets of the Member. MAF may cancel any earned Points or the whole or any part of SHARE as and when it deems fit without notice and without liability.
1.12 MAF will not be liable to a Member or any other person for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from suspension, termination or change of SHARE, any of these Terms or any of the facilities, benefits or arrangements which are made available to a Member.
1.13 Without prejudice to any of its legal rights under applicable laws including without limitation civil and criminal legal actions MAF reserves the right to disqualify a Member from further participation in SHARE, to cancel all previously accumulated Points and to seek compensation for Points redeemed if, in MAF 's sole judgment, that Member has engaged in misconduct or breached any of the Terms, including, but not limited to the fraudulent acquisition of Points or acquisition, sale or abuse of Points or acquisition, sale or abuse of redeemed goods, services or benefits.
1.14 The SHARE App and/ or SHARE website is controlled and offered by
MAF locally. MAF makes no representations or warranties that the SHARE App and/ or SHARE website and the content thereat is appropriate for use in other locations. Those who access or use SHARE App and/ or SHARE website from other countries / jurisdictions do so at their own volition and risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
1.15 You understand and accept that if MAF is required by applicable law or these Terms to notify the Member for any purpose in regards to SHARE or these Terms, You will be duly notified if MAF (at it sole discretion) publishes the notification to the Members at the SHARE App or the SHARE Website.
2. MEMBERSHIP – REGISTRATION & JOINING
2.1 SHARE is available to any person over the age of ten (10) years old. However, if the user is under the age of 18, their membership and all dealings within should be made under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound and bound the underage user by these Terms.
2.2 MAF reserves the right to accept or reject any application for membership in SHARE at its absolute discretion.
2.3 If an application for membership is rejected or cancelled, any benefit that may have accrued to the applicant through SHARE usage will be null and void.
2.4 SHARE is free for registration and is available by downloading the SHARE App and completing the required registration details.
2.5 Members must complete the registration process by providing current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. As a minimum, the member will need to provide their full name, email address and mobile number. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information provided for registration or any other information provided by you on SHARE. The member is responsible for updating his/her account on SHARE with any changes to their contact information. MAF reserves the right to require more information from the member to complete the registration.
2.6 Membership is not transferable, and any benefits / Points cannot be assigned or transferred to any other Member, unless otherwise in accordance with these Terms.
2.7 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, as per these Terms, MAF shall have the right at its sole and absolute discretion (and not the obligation) on exceptional circumstances as decided by MAF from time to time to allow transfer of Points from a Member’s account to another Member’s account.
In case MAF allows transfer of Points between Members, you understand and accept that:
a. The minimum allowable shared Points shall be (10) Points;
b. It is the responsibility of the Member to ensure that the entered recipient email address and any other data required to complete the transfer of Points is correct;
c. Once a transfer of points is done, transferred Points are non-reversible to the transferor’s Account nor transferable to any other Account;
d. MAF reserves the right without any demur by the Member to reverse at its discretion any or all of the transferred Points if a Member is found (at MAF’s sole opinion) in breach of any of the Terms. MAF reserves the right to cancel the transfer of Points between Members as and when it deems fit. MAF shall endeavor (without being obligated to) to notify the members of such cancelation, either through publishing on the Share Website or Share App or through any other means.
2.8 The member hereby understand and accept that in no event shall MAF be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or any liability of whatsoever nature arising out of or in any way connected with the user’s usage of share or the transfer of points to another member’s account, including but not limited to loss of points and / or loss of personal information. the member indemnifies and holds MAF harmless against any third-party claim that might be arising from share in general and from transfer of points specifically.
2.9 All Points accrued by a Member will be credited to their respective Account only.
2.10 A Member cannot have multiple Accounts. MAF shall have the right without any demur by the Member to amend, adjoin, delete or cancel all or any of the multiple Accounts or whole or part of the accumulated Points of a Member if he / she is apparently found to have created more than one account for accumulating Points in a way that is in MAF’s sole opinion malicious or not in accordance with these terms.
3. EARNING POINTS
3.1 A Member may Earn Points on Qualifying Transactions on or after their Enrolment Date.
3.2 To Earn Points, the Member must have downloaded the SHARE App and fill in the required registration details in order to activate their Account.
3.3 For Earning in-store at Participating Brands the Member must make available the SHARE App on a mobile device and be logged in to their Account, Members should present their SHARE ID within the SHARE App to the cashier prior to payment in order to Earn Points.
3.4 E-commerce Points Earning through a Participating Brand’s website and/or mobile application requires Members to log into their SHARE Account on the respective e-commerce website and/or mobile application before completing the transaction.
3.5 The Member’s Earn rate will vary based on the Participating Brand and will range from 2.5 points up to 30 points or more per 100 EGP or equivalent in other currencies, of the total Qualifying Transaction amount. MAF reserves the right to change the Earn Rate at its sole discretion.
3.6 The number of Points Earned by the Member shall be based on the total Qualifying Transaction amount.
3.7 Points may take up to 1 week to be credited to a Member’s Account. Points Earned by a Member may only be Redeemed by that Member in accordance with these Terms once they have been credited to the relevant Account.
3.8 Points can only be Earned on Qualifying Transactions. It is the responsibility of the Member to verify the accrual of points Earned in these instances.
3.9 The Member cannot Earn Points when purchasing the following items, which can be amended from time to time or other purchases excluded by MAF at its discretion:
a. Financial services products (e.g. ATM, banking, currency exchange)
b. Gift cards
c. Sales identified by Carrefour as Bulk sales are not part of SHARE. Terms and Conditions apply.
d. Carrefour online items sold by 3rd party suppliers (not sold by Carrefour)
3.10 Majid Al Futtaim, at its sole discretion, may permit members to earn points by submitting valid original receipts through the SHARE App. The validity of submitted receipts, including the Participating Brands and the applicable time period for receipt acceptance, shall be determined exclusively by Majid Al Futtaim. Majid Al Futtaim reserves the right to reject any receipts deemed invalid and to withhold any associated rewards
4. REDEEMING POINTS
4.1 Members can Redeem Points in Participating Brands by purchasing good and services in consideration of Points, with the current redemption rate set at 10 points = 1 EGP. MAF reserves the right to change the redemption rate at its discretion.
4.2 The minimum redemption amount is 10 points (current equivalent value of 1 EGP), then upwards in increments of 0.1 point (equivalent value of 0.01 EGP).
4.3 For redemption in-store at Participating Brands, the Member must download the SHARE App on a mobile device and be logged in to their Account, Members should present their SHARE ID within the SHARE App to the cashier prior to payment in order to Redeem points. Here, Points redemption is restricted to the full value of an item.
4.4 To Redeem the Points for a Mall Gift Card, the Member will be required to visit the Information Desk at one of the Majid Al Futtaim Malls. A MAF representative will be required to input a Personal Identification Number into the Member’s SHARE App to proceed with the redemption of SHARE Points for a Mall Gift Card.
4.5 E-commerce Points redemption through a Participating Brand’s website requires Members to log into their SHARE account on the respective e-commerce website before completing the transaction.
4.6 The Redeemed Points will automatically be deducted from the Member’s Account at the time of redemption.
4.7 Members must have sufficient Points in their Account in order to Redeem the requested number of Points.
4.8 Points have a validity of 24 months from the date of Earning, after which, they will expire.
4.9 If there is no Account Earning or Redeeming activity for 24 months then all points will expire.
5. REDEEMING PART POINTS / PART CASH
5.1 Members may Redeem their Points either in fully or partially on a Qualifying Transaction.
5.2 Members will Earn Points based on the non-Points redemption component of the transaction so If a Member pays via SHARE Points and Cash, they will only earn points on the amount they paid in cash
5.3 Members can select the number of Points to be Redeemed in each transaction through the SHARE App, subject to any Minimum Redemption Amount.
5.4 For part Points / part cash redemptions in VOX Cinemas, Points redemption is restricted to the full value of an item. For example, if a member purchases 2 tickets and 1 popcorn within a single transaction, they must select which individual items will be paid for with Points and which with cash; such as 1 ticket paid for with Points, 1 ticket and 1 popcorn paid for with cash.
6. Transfer of Member Profiles and Carrefour MyClub Points
6.1 From the Operational Date, existing Members of Carrefour MyClub (a loyalty program operated by Majid Al Futtaim Hypermarkets L.L.C.) will be automatically transferred to SHARE, pertinent details include but not limited to “ Name, Date of Brith, Telephone Number and Email Address”.
6.2 Any Carrefour MyClub Points accrued by the Carrefour MyClub Member will be transferred to SHARE Points from the Operational Date, where 1 MyClub Point equates to 1 SHARE Point.
6.3 Carrefour MyClub Points transferred to SHARE will expire 24 months from the Operational Date.
6.4 Existing Carrefour MyClub Points can be redeemed in Participating Brands.
7. RETURNS
7.1 Any item purchased with Earned SHARE Points or which was paid for with Points or part Points shall be returnable under the respective Participating Brand’s returns policy.
7.2 Points will not be Earned on refunded products. Transaction information may be shared with participating Brands for transaction verification, validation and fraud detection purposes.
7.3 In the event the item is purchased through Earned Points, the equivalent amount of Points will be deducted from the Member’s Account when the return transaction has been processed.
7.4 If there are insufficient Points in the Member’s Account for the deduction of Earned Points from a related refund the Member’s Account will be immediately suspended for verification. No further Earning or Redemption transactions will be permissible until the account has been verified by the SHARE member services team.
7.5 In the event of a Member seeking a refund having redeemed SHARE Points for original purchase, the Participating Brand reserves the right to refund via their existing policy or via SHARE Points to the members account.
8. CLOSURE & TERMINATION
8.1 Majid Al Futtaim may in its absolute discretion suspend, close or terminate a membership or a Member's accumulated Points at any time with or without cause or justification to the Member as MAF deems fit at its sole discretion.
8.2 When Member does not transact for 24 months their Account is set to "Lapsed" status.
8.3 Any time between 24 and 36 months, if a member transacts, their Account will be moved from Lapsed back to the "Active" and login credentials will remain valid, but Points will expire.
8.4 When the Member does not transact for 36 months, he/she would be moved to "Archived" stage at which point the Member would need to register again, as previous login credentials would no longer be valid. MAF reserves the right to modify the Archived stage non activity period.
8.5 The member may cancel his/her membership at any time by calling SHARE Hotline or Email. SHARE reserves the right to request appropriate identification and information from the Member in order to process the cancellation.
8.6 SHARE membership will terminate immediately on notification of death or bankruptcy of a Member. In addition, where the deceased or bankrupt Member is also the Family Head of a Family Account, the relevant Family Account will also terminate. Any Points accumulated for a deceased or bankrupt Member or a Family Head shall be void.
9. FAIR USE
9.1 SHARE is intended to reward and benefit individual customers who participate with the Participating Brands.
9.2 No collective group use is permitted of SHARE, expect where specifically included in the Terms.
9.3 No corporate use is permitted i.e. collection or use of Points or benefits for business purposes is not permitted.
9.4 All exceptional or out of the ordinary use as decided by MAF i.e Points Earning, Redeeming, refunding or use of other benefits of Share will be flagged and may lead to suspension of the related Account whilst the activity is under verification.
9.5 Any misuse of SHARE from its original intention and any action or omission against the fair use terms as decided by MAF at its discretion may lead to permanent deletion of the related SHARE Account and forfeiture of any Points outstanding.
9.6 Majid Al Futtaim reserves the right to legally pursue individuals, companies or other organizations for legal recourse if SHARE is mis-used.
9.7 Majid Al Futtaim reserves the right to suspend, delete or otherwise modify any Member’s Account, or the entire SHARE programme at any time at its sole discretion, with or without prior notification. This may lead to a forfeiture of all outstanding Points, promotions and benefits.
10. PRIVACY POLICY
